2023
On February 17th, Crealights Technology, with the theme of "Energy Conservation and Low Carbon, Leading a Green Future", made its appearance at the 2023 Immersion Liquid Cooling Intelligent Computing Industry Development Summit Forum guided by Open Data Center Committee (ODCC). In recent years, immersion liquid cooling technology has developed rapidly in China due to its advantages of efficient heat dissipation and energy conservation. At this forum, Crealights Technology attracted a lot of attention with its comprehensive display of immersion liquid-cooled optical module solutions. Through technical sharing, the significant promoting role of immersion liquid-cooled optical modules as one of the components of liquid-cooled data centers was expounded, fully demonstrating the company's innovative development in liquid cooling technology.
On-site demonstration - Immersion liquid cooling technology made its debut at the exhibition
At this exhibition, Crealights Technology demonstrated on-site its self-developed 200G QSFP56 SR4 liquid-cooled optical module based on its mature liquid cooling technology platform. As a representative of the full range of liquid-cooled optical modules of Crealights Technology, the 200G QSFP56 SR4 liquid-cooled optical module is applied to the 200GBASE-SR4 Ethernet link, adopting 50G PAM4 VCSEL technology. Under the premise that the FEC is enabled in the system, Data interconnection of 212.5Gbps within 100 meters can be achieved through four pairs of multimode optical fibers. The excellent sealing design of the optical components of the product can effectively prevent coolant from entering the optical path, thereby avoiding the influence of the solution on the optical path. Customized reliability testing equipment ensures the special reliability testing requirements of liquid-cooled optical modules and can provide high-reliability and cost-effective optical interconnection solutions for customers' immersion liquid-cooled data centers.
During the exhibition, Crealights Technology was awarded the "Outstanding Partner of 2023" by the Open Data Center Committee (ODCC) for its significant contributions to the related work of immersion liquid cooling. The application of immersion liquid-cooled optical modules has created added value for high-density data centers.
In response to the future development of immersion liquid-cooled optical modules, Shi Xiaocheng, the senior device process expert from Crealights Technology, delivered a keynote speech titled "Research and Application Practice of Reliability Testing for Immersion Liquid-Cooled Optical Modules" at the forum. Shi Xiaocheng stated that with the need for energy conservation and carbon reduction in data centers and the development of high-density data centers, immersion liquid-cooled data centers are currently one of the best options under the "dual carbon reduction" goals. As for the immersion liquid-cooled optical module, we currently face the following three technical challenges:
● Develop special packaging methods for liquid-cooled optical modules.
● Set up customized liquid cooling immersion environments and liquid cooling testing environments.
● Lack of large-scale application cases and corresponding national or industry standards.
Facing challenges, Crealights Technology actively responded and built a complete platform for the design and production of liquid-cooled optical modules. The performance and reliability of the module have both passed the test verification and completed the small-batch delivery to the end customers. In the future, Crealights Technology will work in collaboration with the upstream and downstream industrial chains to jointly promote the standardization and industrialization of liquid-cooled optical modules.

Innovation and Progress | Working hand in hand with partners to drive industrial development
The demand for computing has driven the power density of data centers to continuously increase, and the heat generation and energy consumption have been constantly rising. Meanwhile, the launch of "East Data West Computing" and the implementation of the "dual Carbon" strategy have put forward more stringent requirements for the PUE of data centers. Traditional air cooling solutions are no longer able to meet the heat dissipation needs of IT equipment in data centers. Driven by this, liquid cooling technology is becoming a revolutionary solution in the industry with its advantages of high efficiency and low carbon emissions. The immersion liquid cooling market is about to explode. The full range of liquid-cooled optical modules from Crealights Technology provides strong support for data centers to break through energy-saving bottlenecks.

Liquid cooling is not only a change in heat dissipation methods, but also has the potential to transform the entire data center ecosystem. Crealights Technology will start from application demands, attract more outstanding enterprises to participate in the construction of the industrial chain, and work hand in hand with partners in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to promote the improvement of liquid cooling standards, joint innovation of products and the construction of solutions, so as to enable the liquid cooling data center industry to develop rapidly.
