Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Smart Manufacturing Project of High-Speed Silicon Photonics Optoelectronic Devices and Modules

On October 13th, Crealights Technology Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BEDA) for its smart manufacturing project of high-speed silicon photonics optoelectronic devices and modules.
Dr. Hu Zhaoyang, General Manager of Crealights, noted that the new facility would serve as a launchpad for the company to deepen its expertise in optoelectronic chips and accelerate the development of high-end products. He also expressed eagerness to collaborate with partners to build an open, efficient innovation ecosystem—efforts aimed at propelling China’s optical communication industry to the higher end of the global value chain.
The project will feature dedicated production lines for both high-speed silicon photonics optoelectronic devices and integrated modules. Once operational, it will effectively alleviate the supply shortage in China’s high-end, high-speed optical module market. Additionally, it will lay a robust foundation for production capacity and provide critical support to scale up and enhance the quality of the domestic optical communication industry.
