Nanjing Crealights Technology Co., Ltd. marked its official inauguration at the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area on October 16, with company executives and supply chain partners in attendance to celebrate the milestone.
In his address, General Manager Dr. Hu Zhaoyang thanked the Jiangbei New Area government for its robust support—crediting it for the company's smooth establishment and launch. He emphasized Crealights' commitment to "rooting in Nanjing and serving the global market," outlining its ambition to drive technological breakthroughs, scale production capacity, and deliver Nanjing-manufactured optical modules worldwide. The company aims to become a global leader in optoelectronics and contribute to the industry's growth in Nanjing and beyond.
Focused on AI-driven silicon photonics demand, Crealights specializes in R&D, manufacturing, and technical services for silicon photonics chips, packaging and testing, high-speed optoelectronic devices, and optical modules. Its client base includes major internet firms, cloud data centers, and AI computing hubs across China and North America.
The company boasts strong technical and infrastructure capabilities, including an 8,600-square-meter Class 10,000 cleanroom. It has developed a proprietary "zero-change" CMOS silicon photonics process with fully independent device design, achieving domestically developed, self-controlled silicon photonics chips. Its "Wafer-in, Module-out" packaging and testing platform enables wafer testing and fully automated production, supporting the development and manufacturing of over five product lines covering 400G to 1.6T optical modules for diverse applications.
Starting with an annual capacity of 1 million units, Crealights plans to scale production year-on-year through "technological innovation and supply chain integration," aiming to expand its share in the global high-speed optical module market and boost competitiveness.
As part of parent company Crealights' global expansion, the new Nanjing entity joins wholly-owned subsidiaries in Beijing, Nantong, and Singapore—forming a five-location network to build a globally competitive optoelectronics production base. Crealights will continue to enhance product value and market share through advanced technology, quality products, and premium services, striving to lead the global optoelectronic communications industry.
